The starting point of our walk, originally a fishing village,
Walking east from Lyme Regis over The Spittles and Canary Ledges. Many fossils found here.
Late lunch at Anchor Inn, Seatown, Bridport
Half of us slept in this B&B on Chideock High Street
While the rest stayed at The Clock House Inn, almost opposite.
Alan, resting his weary legs in the B&B
The pebbles on these beaches get larger from sand at Lyme to stones at Portland Bill
Day 2 Walking from Seatown, with view of Golden Cap which we walked the first day
The cliffs beyond West Bay with gravel beaches
Looking past Burton Bradstock along Chesil Bank towards Portland Bill
West Bay, Bridport
